Exciting Improvements Underway at
Cantigny Golf
We’re excited to welcome you back to Cantigny Golf for another great season as we continue making enhancements and improvements across the property.
Our clubhouse is in the finishing stages of enhancements and will remain closed until mid-May. During this time, all golf operations—including check-in, parking, and bag drop—will take place at the Golf Academy. While the clubhouse is closed, golfers can enjoy food and beverages from our new Airstream halfway house.
Over the winter, we broke ground on the new Hillside 6 and Woodside 8 green complex as part of our continued improvements. This spring, the course will feature two temporary greens and a few fun routing changes, playing as a Par 70.
This season we have moved to 12-minute tee time intervals to reduce congestion and improve pace of play. Additionally, Cantigny Golf is now a cashless property to help streamline service and enhance your overall experience.
Throughout the spring, our turf care team will be actively performing seasonal maintenance and course improvements to ensure the course is in outstanding condition. We’re excited to share these updates and appreciate your patience as we continue enhancing the Cantigny Golf experience.

Golf Club Rental
Rental sets are available at check-in in the Golf Shop. Fees are $75 for an 18-hole set and $40 for a 9-hole set.

Booking Policy

A 7% Illinois sales and use tax will be added to the golf cart rental fee at check-in in the pro shop on the day of your tee time.

Reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.

Reservations may be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tee time without penalty.

Groups arriving with fewer players than booked, or guests who do not show up for their scheduled tee time, will be charged a no-show fee equal to 50% of the reserved rate per person.
Rain Check Policy
Cantigny Golf gives rain checks for inclement weather on the day of play. If a guest has started a round of golf and lightning and or rain forces them to stop play the rain check will be issued according to the prorated remaining value for their round. For example, a player paying $100 for their round who finishes after 9 holes will receive $50 in value to apply toward future green and cart fees (still applicable toward green fees and cart fees only). Caddie fees will not be rain checked or refunded).
Dress Code Policy
Men are required to wear a collared golf shirt with slacks or Bermuda-length shorts.
- NOT PERMITTED: Tee shirts, sleeveless shirts, and shirts with inappropriate words or images.
Women are required to wear Bermuda-length shorts, skirts, skorts, capris or slacks. Women may wear sleeveless shirts.
