During the season, Cantigny offers a series of club events where our regular players—and those who keep their golf handicap at Cantigny—can participate. These events are designed to be fun and allow our golfers an opportunity to compete in a series of events all summer. Ask a Cantigny staff member how to get involved.

Friday Evening Competitive LeagueFriday, April 17 - August 21, 2026 Play is every other Friday, April 17 through August 21 (Except for June 12, there is NO LEAGUE on June 12. June 12 league night will take place on June 5). 10-total league nights: 4/17, 5/1, 5/15, 5/29, 6/5, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 8/7, 8/21 The Friday Evening Competitive League is a 9-hole, match play event. The league takes place every other week for a total of ten dates, and is designed to combine camaraderie, competition, and fun. A point system is kept weekly with the championship on August 21 to determine a winner. Tee times are assigned each week, ranging from 3:50 pm - 5:40 pm. Entry Fee: $500Friday League Entry Fee is an all inclusive fee. Fee includes: weekly green fees, cart fees, range balls, food buffet following golf, and end of the year prizes. Friday Women's LeagueFriday, April 24 - August 14, 2026 Play is every other Friday, April 24 through August 14 (Except for June 5, there is NO LEAGUE on June 5) 8-total league nights: 4/24, 5/8, 5/22, 6/19, 7/3, 7/17, 7/31, 8/14 The Friday Evening Competitive League is a 9-hole, match play event. The league takes place every other week for a total of eight dates, and is designed to combine camaraderie, competition, and fun. A point system is kept weekly with the championship on August 14 to determine a winner. Tee times are assigned each week, ranging from 5:00 pm - 5:40 pm.Registration opens February 23. NEW FOR 2026: Shamrock ScrambleTuesday, March 17, 2026, 5:30 pm Kick off golf season with a St. Patrick’s Day–themed outing at the Cantigny Golf Academy — no umbrellas or hand warmers required. Enjoy heated hitting bays and a competitive 18-hole, 3-person scramble designed to ease everyone back into the swing of things. Play where the pros are playing with TrackMan Range virtual golf, taking on Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course in a relaxed, social setting that still delivers just enough competition to keep it interesting. The evening wraps up with a festive St. Patrick’s Day dinner buffet and drinks. Whether you’re dialing in distances, plotting strategy with your teammates, or simply shaking off the offseason, this is a weather-proof way to start the year on a high note. Two Person Spring ClassicSaturday, April 4, 2026 Our annual event is a handicapped 2-person scramble. The winners' names are honored on a trophy which is proudly displayed in our clubhouse lounge. Getting to Cantigny Golf and Cantigny Golf Academy
Cantigny Golf, Cantigny Golf Academy, Cantigny Youth Links and Cantigny Park are located in Wheaton, Illinois, a western Chicago suburb, approximately three miles north of Interstate 88 and six miles west of I-355.
From Chicago, travel west on the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290). Exit I-290 at the East-West Tollway (I-88) West interchange. Take I-88 West and exit at Winfield Road. Travel North on Winfield Road approximately 2.5 miles to Mack Road. Turn right on Mack Road and the clubhouse entrance will be approximately 1 mile on your left.
From the Northern Suburbs, take Route 53 South to the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355). Take I-355 to the East-West Tollway (I-88). Go West on I-88 and exit at Winfield Road. Travel North on Winfield Road approximately 2.5 miles to Mack Road. Turn right on Mack Road and the clubhouse entrance will be approximately 1 mile on your left.
From the Southern Suburbs, take the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) North to the East-West Tollway (I-88). Go West on I-88. Exciting Improvements Underway at
Cantigny Golf
We’re excited to welcome you back to Cantigny Golf for another great season as we continue making enhancements and improvements across the property.
Our clubhouse is in the finishing stages of enhancements and will remain closed until mid-May. During this time, all golf operations—including check-in, parking, and bag drop—will take place at the Golf Academy. While the clubhouse is closed, golfers can enjoy food and beverages from our new Airstream halfway house.
Over the winter, we broke ground on the new Hillside 6 and Woodside 8 green complex as part of our continued improvements. This spring, the course will feature two temporary greens and a few fun routing changes, playing as a Par 70.
This season we have moved to 12-minute tee time intervals to reduce congestion and improve pace of play. Additionally, Cantigny Golf is now a cashless property to help streamline service and enhance your overall experience.
Throughout the spring, our turf care team will be actively performing seasonal maintenance and course improvements to ensure the course is in outstanding condition. We’re excited to share these updates and appreciate your patience as we continue enhancing the Cantigny Golf experience.

Golf Club Rental
Rental sets are available at check-in in the Golf Shop. Fees are $75 for an 18-hole set and $40 for a 9-hole set.

Booking Policy

A 7% Illinois sales and use tax will be added to the golf cart rental fee at check-in in the pro shop on the day of your tee time.

Reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.

Reservations may be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tee time without penalty.

Groups arriving with fewer players than booked, or guests who do not show up for their scheduled tee time, will be charged a no-show fee equal to 50% of the reserved rate per person.
Rain Check Policy
Cantigny Golf gives rain checks for inclement weather on the day of play. If a guest has started a round of golf and lightning and or rain forces them to stop play the rain check will be issued according to the prorated remaining value for their round. For example, a player paying $100 for their round who finishes after 9 holes will receive $50 in value to apply toward future green and cart fees (still applicable toward green fees and cart fees only). Caddie fees will not be rain checked or refunded).
Dress Code Policy
Men are required to wear a collared golf shirt with slacks or Bermuda-length shorts.
- NOT PERMITTED: Tee shirts, sleeveless shirts, and shirts with inappropriate words or images.
Women are required to wear Bermuda-length shorts, skirts, skorts, capris or slacks. Women may wear sleeveless shirts.
