Chris Pieters Named Food & Beverage Director

 

Wheaton, Ill., May 23, 2017 — Christopher Pieters has joined Cantigny Park and Cantigny Golf as Food & Beverage Director. The appointment was announced by Northbrook, Ill.-based KemperSports, which oversees Cantigny’s golf and foodservice operations.

Pieters brings 15 years of high-end restaurant management experience to Cantigny. Most recently he was general manager of Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Naperville. His foodservice career also includes management positions with Maggiano’s Little Italy, White Chocolate Grill and Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano.

“Chris’s track record of restaurant industry success speaks for itself,” said Terry Hanley, Cantigny Golf general manager. “I’m confident his leadership will take our hospitality to an even higher level for our dining and private party guests.”

Pieters looks forward to a new career challenge at a venue well known for its gardens, museums and 27-hole championship golf course. Cantigny’s food and beverage operations include Le Jardin and Bertie’s Café at Cantigny Park, and the Red Oak Room and Fareways Grill at Cantigny Golf. Pieters will oversee a staff of 100.

Pieters holds an MBA in marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management (Downers Grove) and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He resides in Lisle with his wife, Sita, and three children.
